Hello, guys, my friend asked me to tune his car and i have a tactrix cable and ecuflash which is what i use usually, so when i tried to reflash the car with only the obd2 plugged in since it doesnt have the white connection from the tactrix cable, it said programming voltage is too low????

what do i have to do to make it work, connect any cables for example the green dash connnectors?? and/or the white ones???? what do i have to do in order to flash it back on the ecu, cuz i can read the ecu and change the maps, but can't flash it back on???

please help

What car? Model? Year? Market (US, EU, JDM)?

You always have to hook up the green connector. But if you were not doing that correctly you would not be able to read out the ECU, so you are probably ok there.

You most likely need the flash block (white plug) connected. Most of the 2.0L turbo cars need it.

You can also use some wires to short out the connector, but it is messy and you need to be careful the wires are secure.

Under your dash, near the green connector, is a white connector that you plug your flash block into. It just shorts the wires in the plug for you. This sends the program voltage to the ECU.

You need both the white connector plugged in. There should be a connector under the dash by the green connectors. Plug that in. Also plug the green connectors together. After this you should be able to flash. Also if you recieve a low voltage error. Try reconnecting the obdII connector. I had this issue on MY04 WRX.

Next enjoy the new found power.......
Had AP now ECUFlash and romraider. Life is good.
