Hey all,

I am fairly well familiar with the process, i have tuned a couple of WRX, this one is giving me a headache. I have tried everything at this point to download the stock ROM. This is a 2002 WRX, early model. I have been plugging and unplugging jumpers and connectors for the past 3 hours. Nothing works. This is an error message I'm getting.

[04:26:00.590] denso02_bootloader_cmd_start
[04:26:01.791] denso02_bootloader_cmd_start
[04:26:02.993] denso02_bootloader_cmd_start
[04:26:04.195] denso02_bootloader_cmd_start
[04:26:05.397] denso02_bootloader_cmd_start
[04:26:05.797] kernel get version

The strange thing is that I have to use the 04-05 white jumper block and not 02-03, this car does not have the same white plug as a regular 02-03. Not a driver issue - I just flashed an 05, no problem.

This car is driving me nuts, looking for some advice.

Thank you

Okay got it to work. Used ECU EXPLORER to download HEX and using ECU Flash to edit and upload it.

that's weird. EcuExplorer shouldn't really be any different in this way...

Same problem

i have the same exact problem with my brothers car its an 03.
I have reflashed several cars (my 06 tr, 07 sti, 05 wrx), but my brothers car just dosent work.

I connect the green diag. plug and the other one, but for some reason the CEL wont come on unless I unplug the tactrix cable from the ODB II port.

i get the same "kernel get verison" error, its driving me nuts trying to figure it out if anyone has any idea i would appreciate any help.

Hi, to all the Guru!
And what to do to owners of Russia? Today too has faced this problem.
Car - WRX for America of 2002.
Whether the decision has been found?
I shall be grateful for the answer.

Piligrim: can you send a log of the problem to support@tactrix.com? do you have the green connectors on both sides of the vehicle connected and the reflash jumper attached?

Thanks Colby, for the answer.
Has found out news unpleasant for, - the adapter "has simply died".
Silently so, easy... Has taken and has died. :( At once I shall tell, it was not tactrix
I have applied a spare variant and... Ооо all has been read through! =))

I a beginner, probably there will be still questions.
Thanks for answers! ;o)
