Dyno Run for a stock MY2006 JDM SpecB 6MT LGT ("D"

Have you tried resetting the ECU?

Some people have said that the ECU will adapt and doesn't need to be reset, but I found that my ECU did not unlearn bad habits. Resetting my ECU definitely made a marked improvement.

That might be the cause of the ECU pulling timing. Or maybe bad gas?

Were you able to find the knock correction? The knock signal isn't very informative.

ok a few things first;

this is a stock JDM SpecB 6MT Legacy, running a EJ20 on a TD04-16HLA (from my understding but definitely a TD04 twin scroll), it is completely stock not modded yet :=P

bore n stroke is 92mm*75mm
compression ratio is 9.4 (believe the US legacy is running 8.2?)
rated crank hp is 206KW/6,400 rpm and rated torque is 343NM/2,400 rpm

gas - its 98 octane - the best i can get here.... in japan its 100 octane - 1st guess is that the ECU was tuned for that rather than what i can get here..., 2nd guess is due to differences in air temp (talking abt almost 15 degress difference in ambient temp)

on the matter of pulling the ROM, i have been trying trying trying and trust me it is painful - i still cant get the ECUFLASH to download the ROM, despite putting the car in test mode etc etc.. my pain is captured in the thread below :cry:
http://forums.openecu.org/viewtopic.php?t=1116

Even ECUexplorer does not reflect the name of my ecu, below are the items captured in ecuexplorer - cant find the IAM ; and i did not use any of the user defined values (ie all are off) any advice?
