Funny part is there's an intercooler sprayer relay output that should be loggable... It could be used on 02-04 cars..

Thanks

Also is there any way to output the AF sensor as maybe AFR in addition to voltage?

What? I don't want my rear defrost on when I'm logging :)

Why not?

Once Evo4Mad gets the new version out with the columns straightened out You can use Data Log Lab, the log files will import directly using a definition (and a definition file will likely be included in future versions of DLL) And you can do dyno runs in that. Its fairly accurate once everything is configured, and very consistent.. Until then, you can use my EvoScan Gateway tool I posted earlier, all it does is combine the seconds and time columns, then reformats the time so that you get a seconds from start of log.. And the logs can be days long, since I include the date (Day of year) in the calculation..

This won't be necessary after the new version is released..

Evo4Mad, I am a proficient programmer and would like to work on the program a bit, but I need the source code, I can help with development if you want to set up a members only source forge repository...

Evo4Mad- While I have no programming skill, I have seen in the past that once these kinds of programs become open source, they progress much, much quicker and include lots of new capabilities. Are you considering releasing the source code? There are lots of people out there who REALLY appreciate what you have already done and want to contribute their knowledge.

Are you talking about the stock sensor or a wideband sensor?

I second that statement. Lets get the code out there at a minimum to a select few to help 'speed' this project along.

There already is other programmers helping, MalibuJack just wants to take the source code and add it to his own product so he doesn't have to code it.

UPDATE: Thanks for those whom have given me support and haven't bitched to me directly, or on the numerous forums. Project isn't going to be full opensource, too many differences of opinion in development, I have already posted the protocol info if anyone wants to program one themselves. As at Friday 14th July 2006, the registration cost for EvoScan will be $35US and will coincide for release version 1.0. Further updates will be on a different forum, I will post the link, once decided. Existing registered members will still receive free updates. thanks.

Well since were now going to pay for this and have no chance of seeing source code I’m going to make some request to you to bring this logger up to usable standards. Standards that MMCD already has (and is free) and standards that my pocketlogger has (but I had to pay for).

It needs a hot key to start and stop logging. The laptop space key is an obvious choice.

You need to be able to select a few different variables and have them dominate the screen. It needs to be such that the driver can see 5-6 different parameters while driving.

Incorporate some user defined toggles to start logging. IE: if TPS goes above a certain value then start logging.

I do have a general question about the knock value. Is this just knock after it is filtered by the ecu or is it knock sum which slowly bleeds off with time. It is a small but important distinction.

Awesome, thanks Evo4mad.

I've incorporated the Evoscan data into my website so I can save and get to it anywhere. Not really necessary but is fun :)

I can upload the CSV files on the backend and can view graphs. It's in it's early stages, I'd like to add comparisons and stuff later. Check it out, let me know what you think.

Laakness, are you going to add a way for anyone to upload csv files for viewing? (possibly with a retention period.)

Well that may be but this is an open source forum. He's not going to open source all of it so might want to post on another forum and offer $1000 so that he will raise the price even further.
