only thing I noticed was that you can't view more then one log at a time.

Other then that its very useful.

You can open more than one instance of the program though to get around that :) That's what I did.

Typical ejerk.

1. I fixed the problem
2. Since you guys know so much you will have no problem figuring out why it doesn't install properly on some computers.
3. Thanks for all the supportive and helping posts.

BIG THANKS to EVO4MAD & Second Chance...

Postby alwaysinboost » Sun Jul 02, 2006 1:31 pm

with the use of your programs I was able to tune my car to a perfect timing curve with ZERO knock. This thing pulls like a rocket now and its 100% safe in the 90+ heat and 100% humidity weather we are in currently.

I really can't wait until we have A/F & boost logging... this is really an exciting time to own an EVO :D

Below is a snap shot showing one of many logs I've recorded with virtually NO knock, this was a 2nd through 4th gear pull in 95* heat and 100% humidity.

Thanks again!

humm, image no worky...

You need version 1.1 of .NET for EVOScan to work. To find out what version you have, you can go to the Control Panel and then go to Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down the list to the .NET installation and it should tell you which version you are running. It will say something like:

"Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1"

You also want to install v. 1.1 before you install version 2.0.

Here is the .NET v. 1.1 installation file: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/than ... d0%26s%3d0

Thanks for the feedback.

Here is a new Verison.
- Added ability to open more than one graph.
- Added Option to lock the YAxis (on by default) on zoom @ 260.
255 is 100%
- Ability to rescale the window/graph.
- Knock text changes to red when knock is detected.
- Added Air Flow Hz.

Enjoy :D

thanks for the update! This software is extreamly useful in conjunction with EVOScan and now its even better.

I have two comments for you though; would it be possible to add coolant temp as one of the displays on the graph? Also for some reason my Hz are maxing out at 1603, I don't know if this is a function of the stock MAF or the software...

Like I already said though THANK YOU very much for making this software. If your even in PA the beer is on me.

I did notice that my MAF Hz max one on a plot or two so it might not actually be MAF hz maybe MalibuJack can verify this with ECU+.

:!: Update :!:
- Added Coolant tmp
- Ability to remove some lines from the graph. (In settings).

I'll have to take a look at it over the weekend.. I have an exhaust leak on my car that I have to figure out..

But if your max MAF is 1600, its possible your running about 22psi of boost, and have an aftermarket Intake..

If it just goes to that number and sticks there, it could be the program is sampling faster than the ECU is providing the info, so your just getting a bunch of repeated values...

I spike to about 1.5bar on my stock boost gauge and taper from there. the 1603Hz reading is consistant throughout my WOT pulls. It follow the TPS signal in that it won't go above that 'magic' 1603hz number. But I know for a fact that it should flucuate at least a little bit.

The ECU doesn't output over 1600Hz on the logger channel. The DSMs have always been that way as well.
