i am having trouble reading ecu on my car want to save map maps before i mess with it im a noob so asume i know nothing have been reading forums something about jumpering a 2 wire green connector i assume its buy the data link connector any help would be greatful got alittle more headway i think connected the green conectors the fans to cycle cel to flash form what i understand that is ecu flash mode but i still can't read yet

I am also a noob at this. But have been working on subies in denver for 12 years now. The two green pluges are to put the computer in diag mode, and flash the truble code out on the check engine light, if you dont have a snaner. there is a 4 pin white plug that comes with the openport that needs to be pluged in right by where these green wires are.
