Hello I have troubles with this error code if I tried to read out or write the ecu:
I have tried it several times to read out the ecu and then it worked, but whole time I got this error message. At the moment its not possible to write or read out the ecu.
Is the ecu blocked, or whats the problem?

J2534 error [ERR_TIMEOUT].

Use OpenPort2.0 Interface, tried 1.42. and 1.43 version.
No stock file on ECU, but file is crap.

It could be locked. Use 'EVO Unlocker' (search this forum) to discount that possibility.
Have you reflashed EVOs before? It could be a problem with the OP cable or the connection to the programming mode connector (separate connector next to OBDII connector).
