Hi, I'm new to all this so hopefully won't get flamed...I'm running evo 7 ecu with rom 98640014, what roms can I flash to my ecu instead of that one? And what does the rom number actually mean? Is this like a serial number? Thanks in advance.

Oh thanks! So they exactly the same? Is 90550001 the newer version of 98640014?

Sorry if it's a stupid question, but couldn't seem to find more info on that: 2byte stuff, what is it and what is it used for? is it only used in evoscan to log? or it is used in ecu's also as a part of rom? And a bit off topic, I've done evo conversion on my lancer and am using evo 7 ecu, the thing is I couldn't find which ecu pin is used for manifold differential pressure sensor, so i used evo8 pin out and I think I connected it to pin13, now I get random values of boostMDP and jdm map in evoscan when logging, so i'm not sure if i used the right pin, could you please shed some light on this for me? If it's not too hard for you, thanks a lot for showing me the way around :)
