Reflashing Montero / Pajero

Hey guys can i re flash the 6g74 motors ecu in a 01 Pajero AUD
It reads but no luck up loading rom do I have to connect the other wire in a plug?

What flash method are you using to read it?
If it's the EVO7/8 method, then yes you can reflash it.
If it's the EVO5/6 method (or whatever it's called), then support for that is read only with this software unfortunately.

Damn I wrote the wrong shit
It will read like Data log on other programs but on ecuflash I want to upload the rom a few people have said I could but I think I need to connect the black wire out the side of the ob2 plug some where ?
The plug its in doesnt fit anything.
It all worked well on the legacy gt I am tuning to e85 though would be good on this too.

It would be helpful if you were to photograph the ECU- inside at least- and post the photos. That may be enough to say 'yes' or 'no'.
