hey guys, i have a 05 wrx with a 07 wrx motor swap. When i use the openport 2.0 it just pops up in the task info bar saying no communication. I have the green connectors connected and the vehicle talks to normal scan tools. The only thing i haven't tried is key on, but everyone says to keep the key off until it connects. any help would be great

no, the ignition has to be on (engine NOT running) to read. What you are hearing is that you don't want to turn the ignition on until you are prompted and ready to read and THEN turn the ignition on and immediately hit OK to read.
