Connection Issues on a Stratus

I just got the cable yesterday and have been playing with EvoScan and MitsuLogger but cant seem to get ecuflash to connect so i can get a rom to post. Im in a 04 Stratus R/T AT. After sending various sequences it says that it gets no responce to any. The read image command only gives me "There was an error reading this ROM file." Im sure im doing something wrong or missing something. Perhaps someone can enlighten me?
