OK guys I have a 2001 Mits. Eclipse RS m/t
I had v1.29 and it read my ecu fine no problems that has a few weeks ago.
since then I was waiting for a def. to be made for my car.
I got it this week.
in between that time v1.30 came out and I decided to upgrade.
until a few days ago I didn't know that it didn't work.
I have not been able to read my rom since I have had v1.30.
It will give me the option to read my rom but whe I click read a blank box pops up
This is the same box that is suppose to say turn ignition to on postion then click read immediatly. but it doesn't say that it's blank and only gives me the option to cancel.
so I tried to uninstall EVERYTHING drivers and everything and re download and install v1.30. Didn't work so I uninstalled everything and found someone who had version 1.29 and installed that and tried it and didn't work either
v1.29 worked when I first downloaded it and started it up
this all started when I upgraded to v1.30
I tried to e-mail colby put I haven't heard back yet
what do u guys think it is?
Is it the cable?
it it the software?
maybe the drivers?
but Ecuflash starts up and it reads the cable because they showup in the bottom right hand corner when I plug it in
I can also use Evoscan and mitsulogger they work great without any problems
any help would be appreciated and I thank you guys in advanced for all your help

Quite frankly, i have never had this problem before and am not able to replicate it to troubleshoot....

hey I appreciate all your help I got the empty box thing worked out tanks to colby now I have another problem I will post a screen shot when i get a chance tommorrow
