Just wondering...
Does the displayed AFR reflect the afr the ECU targets afterlearning from closed loop, or is it a direct correlation to Injector millisecond time. The latter seems more likely to me, and if so, I wonder why it is displayed like this?

I only ask because I know what I want my target AFR to be, so is it as easy as entering the AFR I want into the fuel table, and then tuning timing to suit?

No, the car is not in closed loop at full throttle. The AFR values are calculations that the ECU targets, but they are a bit off from the real, measured value. On my car I have to set the values 0.3-0.4 higher than what i get with my WBO. 11.9 in the table on full throttle and high boost correspond to 11.5 measured value, but it is different depending on your map. Se it as an estimated value.

i.e. you can't tune your fuel table without logging and access to wideband AFR data.

Cool, I thought so. I expect they are off due to 100% VE being assumed?
