ecuflash working with MY05 Legacy 2.0 GT?

has anybody managed to successfully get ecuflash working with an MY05 Legacy 2.0GT? either download or full flash?
i have looked under the dash and cannot see any diagnostic connectors like the Impreza. no small flash block either.

Is that a drive-by-wire car like the 2.5l models in the US (STi,LGT,FXT) are?

Calvin, on a USDM 2.5 LGT, the diag connectors are by the ECU in the right footwell. Haven't tried ecuflash as I thought it was only for the 2.0L motors with the older Mot based processor.

Yes - don't bother with the 2.5l LGT yet until I get the code working for that processor. It definitely won't work now.

it is DBW yes.
Calvin, on a USDM 2.5 LGT, the diag connectors are by the ECU in the right footwell.
i'll have a check there. good advice.
