I'm trying to reflash a 05 US STI... I can read the map from the ecu fine, but the problem I'm running into is when I go to write a new image, it fails with the following:

Then it says error check the logs. Attached is the image I downloaded from the car. It's ID is A2ZJB11J. Am I recieving this error because I am trying to flash a rom with the ID of A4TF800F and the ID doesnt match?

Isn't A4TF800F a WRX map? Wouldn't trying to flash a WRX map onto an STi naturally fail? You should probably try to find a A2ZJB11J (AJ931 8791) image to flash onto your ECU, or modify yours and reflash with that one...

Yeah, that's an 05 WRX map. You cannot flash this to your car! Same year, same exact model, same exact market only.

Arg my mistake. I'll try again witht he proper image.
