Considering the nature of the standard, I was a little suprised at not finding any reference to the J2534 standard here.

Anyone working with any of the tools for pass-thru programming field?

I did some readings over things... And it seems that the OpenPort cables are not J2534 compliant in any shape or form - instead they offer a more raw interface. Am I correct?

Correct. When I first posted this question, I was unaware that "OpenECU" is more specifically focused on the Subaru and on the OpenPort tool and that the primary traffic here is all around those two topics.

Subaru does not yet support the J2534 standard and there was the answer to my original question
