Ok so I was tuning a friends WRX and when i disconnected the cable it split. It split in the middle of the drive by wire where there is a red sheeth going in the middle of the wire. The wire from the cable just popped out of it ... like got un crimped... I am wondering what is in that red sheath because I just want to seperate it and then splice back into it, because I can't go around having a broken cable. It came out with minimal force. Otherwise the cable works awesome... Any clue whats in that red plastic holder?

Stupid me I meant the Mitsubish cable but all the same anywho....still haven't found out how to fix it..
