Hey guys any one know of a open source scan tool? to read CEL and such?

Ecuexplorer will read CELs.

I bought a handheld, standalone Actron unit for $80 at Autozone, about the same cost as my Tactrix OpenPort cable.

Cool. I didnt realize they are that cheap. I'll have to go and pick one up.
