This has happened with a few cars recently.

latest is a UK 2.5 turbo Forester DBW. I want to turn off the fault codes for the air pumps, but cannot download the ecu.

I have Tactrix 1.3u and 1.3b cables, so they are fairly old. Both cables behave the same, it pulls the ECU id but will go no further.

Am I missing something ? definition files ? is the cable not suitable ?

The vehicle is not Ecutek'd or locked, it is 100% as it left Subaru.

This is a screen cap with the 1.3b universal cable. Ive tried all Subaru options ( not that the Forester is listed though )

Surely I must be able to communicate ?
