Anyone else notice how the forums are dragging balls lately? Since the change to the WiKi stuff it's only gotten worse.... or is it just me?

Yes, I'm getting lots of "page will not load" as well. It has become pretty flaky. Not sure if it is just general traffic increase, or it was really caused right when the wiki went up. It is definitely becoming worse over time.

I experience some HTTP flakiness with this server too - and I'm on the same LAN with it! I haven't been able to figure out what is causing it. Pages will be really fast, then take forever or timeout. One possibility is that it gets bogged down sending out all of the email notifications when someone posts, although other servers running phpBB seem to do this just fine.

It's a Win2k3 server, I'm thinking about setting up a linux box to take over everything but Exchange, but I'm not looking forward to reconfiguring everything again...

Exchange can put a lot of drag on a server. How much memory are you running on this box? There's not a problem with running Exchange on the same box as a webserver (I do it all the time), but you have to have a good hardware base to do it. For example, Dual Xeons w/4GB of memory and RAID 5 w/128MB cache on 10k drives... won't miss a beat on such a config. Another thing to look at... maybe a network issue... if it's behind a firewall you could be maxing the cpu on that with all the traffic. An 03 server directly on a public address will get a lot of hits you don't want. Let me know if you want me to take a second look at it... I know you have TS open on it. Won't take long to get a second opinion if you want.
