Do you have the correct COM port selected?

it's the same one that i use for ecuexplorer which is working fine,
could it be a problem of "jumpers" like here?
http://forums.openecu.org/viewtopic.php?p=4714

i wanted to know if there's some risk by putting the jumpers (or one(blue/white) i have ordered the both ) on my car and try to read the ecu..?

Is it a problem if my car isn't in the list at the beggining of the soft (i selected 2004 STI because of it)?
thanks

Dadam,

You have to install the jumper to write into you Ecu.
Connect the 2 plugs available inside the 3 plugs white connector under your dash, they're close to the greens.

For your car, you must select the WRX 2002-2003 method.
2004 will not make it ;)

If you're not 100% sure about what you are doing, send me a PM ;)

the xml definitions i had with xml write v6 is very more complete than that!
I have more than 160 differents maps in 1D, 2D and 3D with ecuflash 1.27

have i made something wrong?
I also have a lot of with enginuity or ecuedit...
