heyy everyone
im new to the site, but have been doing as much research as i can gather about finding out what processor for the lancer ecu i can use.

my car is a lancer MR 4g93 1.8 1997

i currently have a metal case ecu which i know is usless and im going to buy a new plastic ecu but im not sure which choise to take

MR420756
MR420757 (this ecu i know has the mh7203F cpu)
MD351550

i have no idea what ecu i should get to start flashing, the topics ive read up on is the mh7203 cpu is stubbon to flashing but they were quite dated so im not sure now?
from what i know it doesnt matter if the ecu is an auto or manual,

anyone know how much the shipping is for the tactrix 2.0 cable to australia?? i couldnt find it.

im currently not sure what the definition files are?

and if i was to upload my orignal ecu file up would it be possible somone can tune it up and i can compare it to the orignal and learn and compare the changes??

UPDATE, ive brought the tatrix 2.0 today and an aen a/f gauge, just waiting for delivery =)

but i havent brought an ecu yet as im not sure which one to get??

look for a 1999 ecu plastic case, similar model , download the rom save and post it up here ,someone might have an xml or maybe And might help you with a xml .
does it have a maf or map sensor , distributor or coil packs ???

it has a maf sensor and has coil packs.

i ended up buying a MR420757 2000 model mirage de 1.8 from usa for $100, it was the best one i could find, it has the mh7203FA processor in it, just waiting for delivery.

hello i have a question: How can i read that ecu?? because i try and it cannot connect and read it. did the mistubishi lancer/mirage have another cable for jumper like evo/sti or just plug in the tactrix? what option i choose for read it? evo 4/5/6
