Okay I managed to dump my ROM image to a hex file with EcuFlash V1.22 with editing. I tried to use the wizard so I could start editing but it did'nt work.

I hoping someone can help me either develop the definitions in EcuFlash or an XML file. Cheers!

EDIT: I understand! This Map has been removed.

Get rid of this download. We don't upload aftermarket tuned maps on this site.

If you have an aftermarket tune on your car EcuTek or Cobb, don't be posting your ROM on here. Mmmmkay.

Since when? They don't have copyright protection, so I don't understand what issue might prevent such uploads.

Hey Jon, I thought I wasn't doing anything wrong but didn't want to offend anyone. I still have my ROM dumpso should I post it?

Anyway can you assist or point me in the right direction in creating an XML file?

Any help appreciated!

Unfortunately, law is subject to interpretation, and so whether or not it would be an infringement of copyright, I don't want people posting things here that will only create trouble for the project and the site admin (me). Obviously, the stock ROMs are themselves copyrighted, but Denso looses no money if these are shared, since you need the hardware platform to run the code. If someone is in the business of selling tuned maps and you copy and distribute those, they lose money. People don't like to lose money and so they will in turn cause this project grief.

If you are the one modifying the map, or have the permission of those who did, feel free to post it!

If I got some maps from someone else, how can I tell if it was tuned by an individual (themselves) or by a 3rd party company ? I don't want to post tuned maps via AP or ECUTek... so how can I check ?
