SHBOOT Mode with Mod OpenPort 1.3U cable

I read the SHBoot mode schematic and OpenPort 1.3U cable..both look similar except the OpenPort1.3U Boot pin is tied up to a voltage level/charge pump circuit. I have limited tool to help thus do not want to build a dedicated circuit instead modifying from the 1.3U cable
Questions
1) Should I tap direct from the Boot Pin to connect to ECU WatchDog pin ?
Is the OpenPort 1.3U cable already regulate this pin to 125Hz ? Looking at the feedback path..resistor /Capacitor value and the 12V is different from the SHBOOT wiki site..it seems to do other thing.
