02 WRX 5MT back to stock - what equipment?

I'm just about ready to flash the project car back to stock to match the un-modded status of it.
I have zero experience with the Tactrix/OpenPort/RomRaider stuff and do not own the cable or adapters, etc. I do have experience with EcuTek/DeltaDash and Hydra Nemesis.
I have tried to figure out before what pieces I need to do this, but always end up confused by the current state of things.
I do have a stock 02 WRX 5MT ROM image file.
What pieces do I need?
What revision of RomRaider?
Which cable?
What adapters?

You will need to use Tactrix OpenECU software, with a Tactrix OpenPort2.0 cable, unless you can buy 1.2 or 1.3Universal still which I don't think you can.
You will also need the flash jumper blocks; just buy the one with the full adapter set and be done with it.

It will tell you what ROM you need though to put it back to standard. ECUFlash will also tell you this. There are several places to download stock ROMs from on the 'net.

Well, I've asked around locally and nobody has a 2.0 cable + adapters to borrow. For this particular need (a single flash before I sell the car), I'm not dropping $189.
I do have a friend with a 1.x cable. I guess I will give that a shot. Anything I should know to watch out for?

Nope, should work with 1.3 / 1.3U cable. Not sure about the 1.2 one...
Just don't forget the jumper blocks.
