I have a 2006 STi,

My problem is the car doesnt have a stock rom image, I need to reflash stock image - but the problem is:

In our country we encounter with both EDM and JDM ecus.. How can I learn is my car is EDM or JDM or USDM ? Because I flashed with a EDM ecu and had several problems in ignition timing.. And could not control open fuel map..

I will be very glad if you help me..

Also when I tried to specify my stock ecu that I have downloaded from the car - The Ecuflash prog. asked me to specify a definition. I selected EDM and there is some strange maps with flying numbers around.

If i flash with that do you think my car runs as stock? I had some problems in the engine and that costs me alot of money.

So I want to be sure and if I can I want to download my domestic markets ecu and reflash with it. After learning which markets ecu I have.

JF1GDFLH36G060578 is my vin number, anyone can figure out is it JDM or EDM ??

Check digit is wrong, I bet it is a typo
