Since the Subaru Impreza TS (1.6L engine capacity non-turbocharged models of the Imprezas) cannot be read by the Ecuflash, though Romraider datalogging works, would it possible to use the ECU of a Impreza RS instead? I mean, aside from a bigger engine capacity, I would assume that everything else is the same between a TS and a RS. If this works, there'll be plenty of guys bying the RS ECu clean off the shelves of ebay.

if you can not read the ECU, it should be diffirent to RS

'04 impreza service manual has one chapter for all NA engines (1.6, 2.0, 2.5), and one ECU pinout shown. So it's possible for ECUs to be interchangeable unless I missed something
