CANT read ROM,kernal issue..

dont know why it cant read..
i did the exact steps:
ignition off
i connected the green connectors under the dash.
i connected the OP2.0
opened ECUFlash 1.39--->Read from ecu---->choosed non US 2001-2005 wrx/sti
when the next pops up,i turned ignition on,hit ok fast...{ yes i heard fans }
it show me error..Kernal something!
my ECU is JDM 2003
and i downloaded the latest Definition from this site and put it instead of the older one.
please any help?
