ok, i'm sure this isnt a big thing of interest. but, given the potential of what has been done with other ecu/pcm's. i'm curious what it would take or what i can help do to crack the saturn 96-99 pcm's.

reason being is i currently own and built a turbo saturn were i've been looking into better fuel managments. i'm currently using a safc and bigger injectors. i know of the dyiautotune megasquirt. however for inspection reasons in missouri it would be nice to be able to control/tune the pcm it's self with out popping service engine soon codes.

like i said i'm sure there isnt a big if any interest in this but, it's worth asking.

It's mainly a matter of finding a skilled engineer who can read the data sheets on the chips used, probably build a custom cable or remove the ECU, write a flash program, and get the first flash off.

From there, the ECU code needs to be disassembled to reveal whatever factory reflash code may be embedded and designing a new cable and software to use the factory reflash code from there on.

Post some pictures up of the PCB. It may be similar to one that has already been hacked.
