05 Subaru WRX. I installed everything like I am suppose to. I have all connectors connected like I am suppose to. Goes into test mode like it is suppose to.

Problem, when i go into ecuflash cant do anything. None of the icons are lit up, and all of the options in the drop down menus are faded out, and cant click them.

I'm trying to read my ECU to back it up, but I can't any help would be appreciated. I have the newest version. Ive tried everything I could think of.

Sounds like either the cable is not being detected, so ECUFlash doesn't know what capabilities it supports, or ECUFlash can't find the definitions. Check the ROM Meta Data settings.
