Hello, i have an EDM STi MY04 in Germany. I have read my Ecu and its an STi 01/02 Type UK Map (A4RG060Q (AG820 2591)).
Why do i have an 2001/2002 Map, not an 2003/2004 Map??

Can i flash with an 2003/2004 Map like A4RN200H (AH992 5513) ??

Your ECU may have been tuned. Can you post your dump ?

No it isnt tuned. Its Standard STi 01/02 Type UK Map (A4RG060Q (AG820 2591)), no changes has been made.

What's written on the ECU case ? AG820 or AH992 ?

My 04 STI was tuned with EcuTEK, and that is a 01/02 map they apparently use.

if it is ecutek tuned few years ago you cant understand whether it is oem map or mapped. maybe it is flashed with stock map before selling. only ecutek is downgrading ecu for launch control option.
