In what folder do you have the files? I think they can be anywhere in "c:\program files\openecu\rommetadata" .

i have them setup in model specific folders i.e.
C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\galant
C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\evo
ect...
so at first i had ecuflash setup to look in
C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata
but they didnt show up so then i had it look in
C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\galant
and only one out of the 5 shows up

Post up a copy of your ROM, there could have easily been a mistake in the model information

. I could get an XML back in 24 hours if you get a copy posted before Wednesday.
Ooops, its in the Mitsubishi Others section. My bad...

Alright, remove all other XML files from the "Galant" folder that have the ID 85850014. Then add the XML in the RAR to the folder and see if you can get some sweet, sweet ECU pudding. Mmmmmmm pudding...

i got that one to work but there was all kind of perameters on there that my car doesn't have so it scared me a little lol.
so im using definition file 85850014 inherited from definition file 85850013 for a 2001 galant es at.
the only problem with 85850014 is...
Air Temperature Compensation
Desired idle rpm-drive
High intake air temp idle speed target
High intake air temp ISCV increase
stationary rev limit
are grey'd out. if you could identify those for me that would be great
every time i try to use another definition file my maps get screwed up and i have to uninstall ecuflash and reinstall it.
my galant is still auto so i cant use the evo roms

Yea, thats the developers setting for ya. I would not toy around with them either. They are correct in their mapping, I just have no clue what they are used for in the open/closed loop system. You know anything about them?
I need time to study up but I turned into such a corperate tool.

In hopes so I can retire at 50-55, and play with bikes and cars.
