how does this exactly work? I see the possiblity of intereing two values...

To keep the function of whatever that map does from turning on and off rapidly at the limit point, there are two limit points. In between the two points, there is no change.

Rev limiters on most of our cars work the same. Say, fuel is cut right above 7000 rpm, but will not kick in until rpm falls to 6900rpm. If it was just 7000rpm, it would turn the injectors on and off very fast right at 7000rpm, which may be bad on the engine.

So how would you input values into this box?


so based on the table:

ON : 110MPH <-- will kick in at 120 and cut whatevet it cuts out until..
OFF : 105MPH <--- I reach this speed again

So I guess the ON and OFF are not a push swich as I thought? Please correct me if I am wrong

on an evo, they are both set to 510

Generally yes. You hit the upper limit and the function is active until the lower limit set point is matched. Then it won't activate the function of the map until you climb back up to the upper limit.

This keeps it from turning on and off rapidly.
