EU sti 2002 with ecuteck

hi , i m french and speak english a little, so i have a sti 2002 with ecuteck reflash on february of this year , this week i ve bought a 1.3u open port , so i ve heard what they are some problems for read the ecu with ecuteck reflash , it s right ?
can i must do something at my first connection ? i would reflash it because i want upgrade with perrin fuel rails and adjust the afr

thanks for your replying , but how can you change the XXX for 000 or 00Q how do you do it ? with what software ? ecuflash ? enginuity ? thank you for your help

i can t read the ecu , when i do it , it s right error ," please read teh log " . i ve got the green test connected , the openport, and click ok and ignition quickly but ...no result
i ve do it on friend sti with stock ecu and i can read it ...

You also have to connect the white connector, even for read operation on non dbw cars.
