I have an 02 wrx I just put 740cc injectors went in to trim back fuel but im getting this when i try to read the ecu:

Have you previously been able to read, or are you just now trying for the first time?

Have you ever read another car successfully, or is this the first time you've read an ECU with ECUflash?

Did you put the flash block in? Test connector? Did you turn the key and ***immediately*** press the "ok" in the pop up box in Ecuflash to read?

I too have the same problem as the 1st post. Done all you have described with no avail. This is on a ADM 03STi. Then tried to do a ADM 06STi as well and I still can read the rom.

Any help would be appreciated.

I HADEN'T TRYED THE SECOND OPTION IN DIALOG BOX. WHEN YOU CLICK "READ ROM" WATE FOR THE DIALOG BOX IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE THE GREEN TEST PLUGS TOGETHER PLUGE DO THAT, THEN PUT THE JUMPER PLUG ON, AND DO AS IT SAYS TURN KEY TO ON POSITION AND IMEDATLY HIT OK BUTTON. THAT WORKED FOR ME GOOD LUCK!!
