Here's something weird that noone can figure out

-V9 Spec C
tranny serial number matches, I am trying to find serial of the engine to verify that also
Wiring:
-V7 wiring harness (identical to V8/9 with the exception of O2 location and no temp. sensor)
ECU:
-case reads
B2
22611AJ820
112200 - 8810
228810L
-board number is 112031 - 7070
on the actual board the pieces read:
HC 445 10F18
big chip:
D151851-3830
SC439009VFT
J97M263
QQFP0432A
Board number and ECU case number matches the V9 RAC ECU (verified by someone who owns V9 RAC) with the slight differences in chip's last digits
ECU map
-ECUTEK'ed initially with AJ820-8810 tweaked map
Car didn't have AVCS working for a year, nobody could figure it out.... triple checked wiring, tried different ECU from V8 - it worked!
I got the base map for V9 RAC and we reflashed it again (thanks Dave!)
still no worky
I thought I had faulty ECU..... then it was reflashed with different map and AVCS started working!
however the map in now, is the AF481-7546 which is V7 (01-02 STI)
As you can see I have some very very evil gremlins in my car
I am trying to get my hands on some later revision V8 ECU and trying that, see what happens
Anyone has thoughts on this?
