Running leaner than 14.7 possible?

is it possible to program the ecu to run leaner than 14.7?

yes, but it is done by altering the closed loop fuel target, not in the fuel map per se.

So when the ecu is running in closed loop mode , it ignores the table and looks for the closed loop fuel setting or do you also have to alter the fuel map aswell?
I've tried looking for the closed loop setting in ecuflash but can't find it , found it in enginuity but unable to get the map to go above 14.7 , yet in ecuflash you can go leaner than 14.7

why would you want to go leaner?

I dont think there's advantage to make it leaner above 5000rpm. My car AFR goes 10 when release throttle and go above 20 in WOT. Figuring out that my fuel pump/pressure might at fault, I'm changing them now. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i think you got it backwards, it should be close to 10 at WOT.

I would only run lean in closed loop controll to help with the crap fuel consumption of the standard scooby , on the STi 2 with MoTeC I used to run anything upto 16.5-17:1 on cruise
