Copy & Pasting on Ignition and Fuel tables???

Postby Claudio_Haltech » Mon Mar 26, 2007 10:09 pm

Hello all, im only now starting to play around with the ECUFlash software and my cable and had a question about copy/pasting from the tables in the software, i can select the entire table, rows, columns, etc, and past the data onto either excel or even notepad, but if i want to past it back onto the tables in the software i cant.

Anybody know if this can be done? or is this one for the "to add list"? if this has been covered can i please be pointed in the right direction, sorry for the repost, i searched and didnt find anything.

Thanks.

Well, get this. Just for the heck of it, i tried pasting the values from the fuel table that i had edited to the fuel text table in the AEM EMS software and on the Haltech text map, then tried pasting it back to the ECUFlash and bingo! it actually worked. So what is it about ECUFlash that doesnt like Excel or WordPad's copy/paste ??

Anybody got an answer?

there's a thread on www.enginuity.org specifically about this....it works it just has to be editted in excel to paste properly.
