ECU reading problem

Postby line » Sun Dec 03, 2006 3:39 pm

This weekend I finally unmarried my WRX from my AP. After doing that my EcuFlash will no longer read my ECU. It tested and remapped my ECU but doesn’t seem to let me read the ECU.

Any suggestions on what I should maybe step my step. I’m a bit lost on what to do

What, exactly, did you do with EcuFlash when you:

Are you trying to say EcuFlash won't let you edit/change the ROM image on your laptop?

I guess I wasn’t clear when I go to read the ECU the window is popping open but nothing is coming up ( the different ECU’s to select from should) and its just a blank window. If you would like I’ll try again and take a screen shot.

I know I need another program to edit the maps and I do have Enginuity. EcuFlash did seem to let me write the Stage 2 from that web site to the ECU but it still won’t read. So I can double check the map flashed correctly.

How do I do that. I'm brand new to this and a bit lost. I'm not getting any errors I can tell.
