AccessPort Reprogram Utility

Instructions for use:
 1. Unzip the attached file to an easy-to-access location, such as your Desktop.
 2. Double click on the ReprogramAP_<Port-Type>.exe to run the application. You will see a message
indicating that the software is waiting to communicate with an AccessPORT.
NOTE: The reprogram software defaults to use COM1 for communications. If you require a different
COM port, run the software with a command-line parameter to indicate the correct port in the
	  format of ReprogramAP_<Port-Type>.exe <COM Port #>
          ** Example command to use COM2: ReprogramAP_04STI.exe 2
 3. Power-on your AccessPORT using the provided 5V power adapter and connect it to your PC via the provided
    null-modem serial cable.
 4. Using the on-screen menu on the AccessPORT, select the option to "Sync with PC". Once this is completed,
communication will be established between the PC and AccessPORT.
NOTE: If your AccessPORT has not been initialized with your car's ECU yet, you will not be able to access
the on-screen menu. In this case, press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons on the AccessPORT immediately after
it is powered on to put it in a "Waiting for PC" state.
 5. The reprogram software will now proceed with reinitializing the memory on your AccessPORT. Do not disturb the
PC or AccessPORT while this process is executed. The software will display a message indicating that the
reprogramming is complete when the process is finished.
NOTE: It is possible that the software will hang for a short time. If this occurs, please be patient as the
software will typically recover and resume the process after a short time.
NOTE: It is possible to monitor the progress of the reinitialization process by looking at the screen of your
AccessPORT which will display a message indicating the current percentage of the process that has been completed.

If the reprogram software shows an error message at any point during the reinitialization process, please contact
tech support immediately for further instructions.
