I tried twice on the 2001-2003 WRX setting and twice on the 2003-2005 setting and once on the 2004 DBW setting.
I know mine is VERY sensitive on the ignition on then Ok thing. Hopefully when I see him again this week I'll try all this again.

With same car, I launch the soft first (hitting OK), then I switch the ignition ON... it boots perfectly, 100% times
