OpenPort 2.0 hardware revisions

Postby foxdie » Tue Apr 03, 2012 4:06 am

Hi all,

Can someone detail (or point me in the right direction) of the hardware differences for the OpenPort 2.0 adapters? I recently invested in a backup OP 2.0 adapter and noticed I've now got both a Rev C and a Rev E :)

I don't know the details or version breakpoints but I know there is at least one chip Colby changed. He replaced it with an equivalent of course, but must have been cheaper and/or more reliable.

Functionally I think they're identical; as a 'black box' device you wouldn't know the difference.
