Hi All:
Here's the stock ROM from Mitsubishi Montero, Pajero, Triton 3.2 DID engine,4m41, couldn't open it with any program.
What hardware and software need to reflashing?
I have two ecu
Model Year 2002, ECU number MK386842, Microprocessor MH7203FA, Europe
MOdel Year 2005, ECU number MK386858, MicroprocessorMH8102F, Europe

DiD's use Bosch firmware afaik. Hope it helps.

You are loooking for a solution already exist from log time, right now... Serial Suite Piasiniengineering..

from 2000 to 2009 Pajero Did engine 4M41 and others too.

I think I have an idea about the file you posted. I won't be able to look at it right away, but I may have something that will help you out.

I am sorry to make you wait for this. There was more work than I expected.

I have removed your ROM file from the one you posted. The file you have is sort of like a shell, and your engine's ROM was inside.

I will still try to make a basic definition file for ECUFlash. This will be hard because I do not know much about diesel. Perhaps there are others that can help you now that the ROM has been recovered.

You have it wrong it is 384kB and you are missing something from beginning of the ROM and a lot from the end.

Any more experiences trying to access bigger Mitsubishi DID's with Ecuflash?

Who knows which software can I read flash from ECU? Pajero 3,2DID ( 4m41). It has a not bosch EDC16. ECU is mitsubishi electronics 8631a261 , G1T32774H

This is a definitly something I would be interested in researching furhter. There are a lot of diesel stuff happening now in the Mitsubishi range and would be great to have something to work with on them.

This ECU still not read. I can find a hardware which can read this type processor. MH8102f 630c106
This is a 3.2 DI-D 2007. In attachement pictures of PCB. I hope some one from this forum has experince with same ECU.

The processor is Renesas m32r series, its ROM size is 384kB.
Here is what I have extracted from rpg file posted above.
