EcuFlash on a MacBook Pro

Postby mickeyslim » Sun Jun 06, 2010 8:43 pm

I can't seem to get the EcuFlash software for Mac OSX 10.4+ to recognize my 2003 WRX ecu. I can installed the software fine, but when I hook up the tactrix cable to the laptop and the OBD port, all the options to read/flash ecu are still grayed out. I have the installed the latest ecu definitions for ecuflash, green connectors plugged and my jumper block in.

Can anyone help me read and flash with my mac?

Hi,
Which OP you use? 1.3 or 2.0? I'm not sure but I think last EcuFlash release for Mac (1.38) is NOT working with OP 2.0.

I am also on a Mac. Is there an expected date for the Mac version to work with 2.0?

Also, this is my first post on this forum. Glad to be here!

My MacBook Pro Thinks Tactrix Is A Modem...

Postby GravyRobber » Fri Apr 15, 2011 2:03 pm

I'm also curious. I was successfully able to reflash with my previous Mac (2006 MacBook running Snow Leopard).

Now I have a new MacBook Pro, and it won't work. The computer recognizes the OP 2.0 as modem when I plug it in. Has anybody had this and figured it out before?

Thanks.
