It seems that we'll find the maps and what they do inside rom, helping each other.
My question is the following, forgive me if its a silly one, as I'm new to all this. From all I've read, the processor is an M32R-32 bit, which means there are checksums inside rom. If I open the ROM in ecuflash and I use the checksum module used in evoX xml, software pops up a window, leting me know that one or more checksums are wrong, and if i would like them corrected. Assuming ROM is correct (the original hex file posted in here), the checksum calculation is not correct for colt ROM. Do we need to find the new calculation (marmes, is that what you were talking about in one of your posts in "czt definitions"?), or it does not matter? And finally flashing a modified ROM, can we use the flashing method used in evoX (mitsucan)? Both processors are the same family (M32186F8 for evoX - M32176F4 for coltczT), or do we need to have a new flashing method with help by someone more experienced to this?
Cant wait for your help everyone... thanks.
