Mini Cooper S Tuning

Postby bpi » Thu Oct 19, 2006 10:41 pm

Hi,

I've read that ECUFlash and the Tactrix cable can theoretically support reflashing on the Mini Cooper S.

Can anyone substantiate that claim?

Colby - is there any support currently in (or planned for) ECUFlash for the Mini?

Thanks,
B.

Which OpenPort? the 1.3M ?

Are you aware of anyone having worked up any sample parameter files for the MINI ?

Hmmm.... this will be good if the openecu can read, remap & flash the supercharger & turbo mini.

yes, this would be awesome.

I haven't seen any mention of anyone actually doing so yet however.

Guys, are you sure about that?

The ECUs on Mini Cooper S are very different to the ones used on Subaru and Mitsubishi.

Openecu can tune minis now? That's way cool!

Now if only we can tune the NA models of the Subaru lineup, that would be utterly uber!

I have the JCW a GP map downloaded to my pc. I just dont know where to mod the map for extra power, rev limit and timing. I can give the maps if you like to see.
