My 2005 WRX ECU was bricked by flashing a new map with a updated AccessPort that was already married to it. Apparently you have to unmarry the two first before updating.
The ECU was about 6 months old and was running cobb software before the mishap. 5 speed model.
Accessport has no cables. Just the unit. It's the old style one.
Anyway, I figured someone on here could probably resurrect one or both and get some use.

If you have the Tactrix cable - I think you can still unmarry your AP as long as you have a backup of a married cobb map.
For you ECU - what do you mean by "bricked"? If its simply married and cannot get "unmarried" - why dont you flash it with the stock 05 map - you can download that from the openecu web site.
