This should help alot of people.

Hmm, I alredy have an interface similar to DeltaDash...maybee I could adapt it to this protocol and have myself a free version...although I already own DD so it would be a bit of a waste of time

Yea, but if something as complex as DD is required for this project I might work on it...but as I see it a logging setup is not really what we are trying to do here or am I mistaken?

Ah ok. Sounds good. I was under the impression that it was going to focus on a reflash. I can make my source available, its in Java so it will work (should work) on any platform. I use analog/digital graphs in one of my programs much like DD has, I can make that class portable and available for others.

Here is a link to what it looks like: link

Exactly they have no leg to stand on...

So who can get their hands on the OBD2 to USB connectors and how much?

And secondly, who's going to start the writing of the software? I will help in this obviously....

I've got a USB<->ODB2+Subaru_Specific board design going out later this week before I go on vacation on Friday for 9 days. We should see finished units within a month.

Not sure how EcuTek can claim to have copyrighted the "Subaru Select Monitor" protocol.

Anyway, I wrote a small logging program (thread.) I've since updated the code so that the user can select which parameters are logged, though I haven't tested it yet.

Tried the block read request on my STi ECU. Attempted a 128 byte read from a few different start addresses but only received 'FF' values.

That link has already been posted. Refer to the nasioc thread earlier in this one.
