Ignition and fueling scaling factors

Postby thejean » Thu Sep 14, 2006 12:22 pm

Does anyone know what the ignition/timing scaling factors are for the A4SGD010 roms? Basically, I want to see what the ignition figures would look like before the conversions. I presume colby, calvin or epifan knows this info? Thanks, JC

Also, what are the scaling factors for rom values for load and rpm?

Edit the table in question in Ecuedit (F9) and remove the conversion formula so it just reads [value].

The scaling for the data stored in the ECU to human readable units of measure is stored in the map description area of the rom. Not sure if that is what you're shooting for or not.

RPM is stored as 32bit float directly as RPM, no scaling necessary.

edit: or what tea cups wrote. Or just look at the value conversions. Or pop open the hex editor in Ecuedit and turn it to either "hex" or "float" view. If you click on a map, then hit CTRL-H it will take you right to the map.
