Log Link View and Log Link Set

Postby Spec C Wannabe » Fri May 05, 2006 4:30 am

Hi! I would like to know how to use these two functions and how they work together.

From what I understand, they link ECU maps with a log file to see which cells in the map are used by the ecu.

In a tuning standpoint, this is very useful since we can not live tune our Subaru ECU. Being able to see those load cells which are used by the ECU make it possible to pinpoint the area in the map to be tuned.

Power to you all :D

Sorry if I post in the wrong forum should have posted it in the "Users" section rather than Technical (development) section....

Based on whatever the map's axis headings are... those are the 2 variables you'll need to know from the logs.

Ok, I get a drift. But I've tried it in EcuExp but it turned out a black and white fuel map without any tracing from a log file.

The expected outcome of this function should be black and white map with some colored cell used by the ECU taken from the log file?

Is this function working right in EcuExp? Have you try it with success?
